Job Description

AECOM’s Human Resources Team has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced People & Culture Business Partner to join our team. You will be supporting a client group of around 250 team members in our Sydney office.

Working with a diverse range of client groups you will be responsible for all facets of Human Resources support, including:

  • Employee Relations

  • Performance

  • Culture

  • Reward & Talent Management

  • Building the people management capabilities of our leaders

  • Facilitating and supporting change management

  • Leading and supporting HR projects

  • Working with managers to improve our employee experience.

In addition to partnering with business leaders within key client groups, you will work as part of a core team of HR Specialists both regionally and nationally. Reporting to the People & Culture Lead – New South Wales & Canberra, you will actively contribute to the implementation and operationalisation of the Australia New Zealand (ANZ) HR Strategy, and will support and assist the effective implementation of our Global HR Strategy .

You will have knowledge and experience managing and consulting on a broad range of HR issues, including performance management, facilitation, talent, workforce planning and change management. You will also be confident interpreting policy and providing advice to managers.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Experience:

  • An all rounded generalist background ideally in professional services

  • Ability to engage & influence with leaders

  • Experience in enabling collective success through collaboration, trust, autonomy, accountability and alignment

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Bachelor of Business/Commerce majoring in Human Resources, or similar);

  • 5+ years’ experience working in Human Resources in a dynamic environment.
