Objectives of the Position

To effectively implement the sales strategy, proactively initiate contacts with existing and potential customers, identify their needs in terms of product specifications, schedules and sell appropriate products accordingly to support unit objective achievement in sales targets.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide sales support, set up local demos and sales campaigns to generate customer demand

• Deliver technical advice, training with end-users and /or wholesalers to drive business development

• Visit key customers and collect information on customer expectations, product performance, technical service needs, and competitor activities

• Provide technical support and product know-how to customers as a technical consultant, including handling complaints and confirming return of investment

• Assist marketing team for market survey and support research & development team for all product registration processes and requirements

• Provide timely report to supervisor/ team membersand revised sales tools on regularly basis

• Implement demonstration trials and training to show the benefits of BASF products

• Providing information related to customer expectation and product performance with team members on regularly meeting

• Conduct research and develop a list of potential customers, evaluate product and service marketability in terms of customers’ technical needs

• Maintain up-to-date understanding of market trends and technical development that effect target markets

• Provide product information to complete positioning setting and packing size to meet end-user’s needs

• Participate in the product launch process, this includes supporting presentations, workshops and creating sales tools to initiate engagement and drive sales

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in chemistry background

• Minimum 3 years+ working experiences in Agriculture chemical business

• Experience in direct technical service support

• Good in analytical thinking and team working

• Ability to communicate in English & Mandarin
