Citigroup SVP, Risk Appetite Senior Lead Analyst - Hybrid in Tampa, Florida

The Risk Appetite Senior Lead Analyst is an experienced professional who closely follows latest trends in own field and adapts them for application within own job and the business. Substantial experience within at least one aspect of non-financial risk. Excellent communication skills required in order to negotiate internally, often at a senior level. Provides advanced judgment and conducts in-depth quantitative or qualitative analysis to solve problems and develop new, innovative solutions. Required to think beyond existing solutions, assumptions or current knowledge of sophisticated areas. Significant impact at the enterprise level and business unit level through making decisions that determine approaches and strategies for the firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Support both the Risk Appetite & Metrics and the Risk Appetite Assessment areas in providing oversight of these processes for non-financial risks both at enterprise and business unit level. Goals include achieving continuous improvement of outcomes by delivering more insightful and more actionable risk appetite and assessment that is conducted by the risk category teams and business teams.

  • Develop recommendations to advise senior management on high-priority initiatives, including enhancement to the risk appetite and assessment processes and related areas of the ERM Framework.

  • Coordinate communications with key stakeholders at both enterprise and business level

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience in Financial Services.

  • 7+ years experience in at least one aspect of non-financial risk management including 2nd line and 1st line functions relevant to non-financial risk management.

  • Able to translate data and metrics from across different constituencies in order to create clear and concise executive presentation materials. Highly organized and detail-oriented. Able to create support across a wide range of stakeholders through well-developed interpersonal and influencing capabilities.

  • Possesses excellent written and verbal communications skills. Able to work through a large, complex matrix organization; demonstrates a flexible approach and resilience to setbacks.

  • Promotes a culture of collaboration and teamwork across organizational boundaries; willing to break down business and/or functional silos to optimize results.

  • Franchise player; broad, critical thinker, self-motivated; comfortable working with ambiguity.

  • Organizationally savvy; understands systems, management processes, knows where to go for information and how to interpret. Pragmatic problem solver, forward thinker with independence of thought.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience,

  • Masters degree helpful but not required

$141,440.00 - $212,160.00
