Scope of work
The Surgical Technologist II will be responsible for maintaining and preparing the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, and making appropriate responses as needed. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols. May serve as a preceptor as needed.

Qualifications
High school diploma Required
Associate's Degree Preferred
Completion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc.) Preferred
3 years of relevant experience. 3 years of independent Surgical Technologist experience. Certification must be maintained throughout employment to maintain Senior status Required
AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire Required
NBSTSA or NCCT (CST) certified upon Hire Required
