Coherent Corp. Intern - Power Devices in Warren, New Jersey

As a SiC Process Technology Development Engineer, you will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of silicon carbide (SiC) process technologies. This includes researching and identifying material defects and their impacts on device performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design experiments, analyze data, and implement solutions to enhance device reliability and performance.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Development and optimization of SiC process technologies to improve material defects device performance.
Investigate material defects and their effects on device characteristics using advanced analytical techniques.
Design and execute experiments to understand the root causes of material defects and their impact on device performance.
Collaborate with engineering teams to develop and implement solutions to mitigate material defects and enhance device reliability.
Analyze experimental data, interpret results, and communicate findings to stakeholders through technical reports and presentations.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in SiC process technology to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Education & Experience
Strong background in semiconductor process technology development
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and draw meaningful conclusions.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and present technical information clearly and concisely.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
