Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Security Solutions Engineer - Email Security Engineer to join our newly created Cyber Security team within DTIS- Security Architecture and Engineering area. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our email security solutions to enhance email security, archiving, and continuity. As a Security Solutions Engineer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize the use of Haleon's email security solutions for various operational and security use cases. Through this role you will be providing technical expertise as an Individual Contributor.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
  • Email Security Implementation: Design, implement, and configure email security solutions to detect and prevent phishing, malware, and other email-based threats. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate and optimize email security measures within the organization's email infrastructure.

  • Security Policy Management: Manage and enforce email security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational requirements. Stay informed about the latest email security threats and adjust security policies as needed.

  • Email Continuity: Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the email service wholistically. Provide break/fix support.

  • Collaboration and Training: Work closely with end-users to address email-related issues and provide training as needed. Keep abreast of product updates and industry best-practices, sharing knowledge with the team.

  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for email security product configurations, processes, and best practices.

  • Incident Response: Work with the incident response team to develop and implement response plans for email security incidents. Provide expertise in analyzing and mitigating threats identified through email security systems.

Why you?Qualifications & Skills:
  • Min. Bachelor's degree in computer science, other relevant discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

  • Three to Five years' experience in general Cyber Security, preferably in security domains such as: Email Security, Infrastructure Security, Network Security, Cloud Security.

  • Three years'+ experience implementation and leading IT solutions in Cloud and on-prem.

  • Working knowledge of Security Standards and Frameworks

  • Strong knowledge of email security principles, protocols, and best practices.

  • Experience with email security solutions, anti-phishing technologies, and malware protection.

  • Ability to think strategically and tactically, with effective decision-making skills.

  • Experience providing operational support in a global environment.

  • Stakeholder management with internal and external customers.

Preferred experience and qualifications:
  • Experience with phishing simulation and awareness training programs.

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to email security and data protection.

  • Industry recognized certifications, information security certifications such as CISSP, or CISM, or other evidence of successful performance.

  • Familiarity with Mimecast, Abnormal, and Microsoft Office 365 is a plus.

  • Proven experience as an Email Security Engineer or in a similar role.

  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Haleon offers a robust Total Reward package that consists of competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits program. This includes a generous 401(k) plan, tuition reimbursement and time off programs including 6 months paid parental leave. On day one, you are eligible for benefits, including our healthcare programs where the company pays for the majority of your medical coverage for you and your family. We also offer the opportunity to receive a discretionary bonus based on the achievement of key business performance and other incentive/recognition programs as part of the offering. The salary range for this role is: $106,000 to $159,000 plus a 12% bonus.
