The System Administrator is responsible for assisting employees with technical issues or questions relating to computer hardware or software devices while maintaining confidentiality, system integrity and delivering exceptional customer service. Also assists with implementing and maintaining new technology, infrastructures, maintaining existing information systems, upgrading current software, databases, and networks, as well as enforcing company standards.Responsibilities and Duties:Performs system administration activities on all computer systems.Assists the IT Manager with maintaining external network connection and service.Installs and updates operating systems and third-party software.Sets up new user accounts; closes out old user accounts; ensures system security via passwords and other methods.Performs preventative maintenance procedures; performs system troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common system problems.Performs software backups and maintains archive of source codes.Assists with processes and procedures; supports all personnel as they use system procedures.Maintains computer-related hardware and peripherals.Analyzes system usage; investigates opportunities for performance improvement.Investigates and thoroughly understands developments in systems administration and computer technology.Assists with installing, deploying, and upgrading system hardware and software components as required.Trains and reviews policies and procedures with new hires. May occasionally travel to remote office for assistance.Performs other related duties as assigned by management.QualificationsEducationBachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Information Technology or related field.Work ExperienceThree to Four years of experience, and/ or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Licenses and CertificationsValid United States Driver’s License required, as this position may require some travel.SkillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Highest level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information. Strong technical skills.Attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work under pressure.Present themselves in a professional manner at all times.Strong customer service skillsWorking knowledge of the following programs/systems:Windows 10/ Windows Server 2012/16MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc).Citrix XendesktopMicrosoft Active DirectoryAbility to work independently as well as part of a team.Ability to be on call and work over and above the regularly scheduled work hours.EMPLOYEE BENEFITSWe offer competitive salaries, professional work environments and a comprehensive benefits package.
