As an Enterprise Systems Engineer, you will build the infrastructure for our high traffic, high visibility services. You will provide operational support for critical services that enable connected experiences found across Meta. Enterprise Systems Engineer, University Grad Responsibilities:

1. Build, scale, and secure the Linux environment within Meta enterprise infrastructure, a heterogeneous environment containing diverse operating systems and applications.

2. Apply modern engineering methodologies such as Infrastructure-as-Code, container orchestration, and software-defined storage.

3. Implement systems that are scalable, automated, monitored, and well-documented.

4. Find ways to leverage the scale and complexity of the larger Meta production infrastructure to solve problems for enterprise customers.

5. Participate in incident root cause analysis through multiple infrastructure layers (compute, storage, network).

6. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining Meta.

7. System administration experience working in a Linux environment

8. Experience working with monitoring and configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef

9. Experience coding in at least one of the following languages: Python, Ruby, PHP, Rust, or Go

10. Experience in shell scripting

11. Must obtain work authorization in country of employment at the time of hire, and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment
