As a Production Planning Manager you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leading a broad team of production planners who are navigating the plant to produce the right products to meet the customer requirements

• Implementing production planning process enhancements to respond flexibly to changing expectations and constraints, while creating stability in production output

• Collaborating with Demand, Supply and Material Planning Leaders; Plant Management Team; Global Production Planning experts

• Supporting stakeholders cross-functionally by providing insights in required upcoming adjustments, driving for end-to-end supply chain success

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution

• Advanced Experience planning in a manufacturing environment

• Strong leader able to define, prioritize and execute near and long-term tactics for planning

• Proven supply & demand and/or production planning expertise with significant leadership

• Able to work collaboratively with global team to develop/deploy standards

• Strong principle-based coaching and collaboration skills

• People leader driving continuous team development and team spirit

• Capability to drive success in a customer first, global, end to end value stream

• Ability to communicate and influence globally

• Strong analytical skills and ability to work with cross functional teams

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business or Operations

• Supply chain, operations, and/or logistics experience

• LSS experience

• APICS certification
