About the role:

Whilst reporting to EMEA Purchas to Pay Manager in ESSC, T&E Supervisor will manage and oversee the ESSC T&E team providing service in area of settlement of support the revenue recognition and technical accounting functions within the department, providing excellent customer service for all travellers/bookers and card holders in 26 countries worldwide.

What are your responsibilities?

· Managing and overseeing the day-to-day work of EMEA T&E Team 10+ Team Members.

· Owning T&E KPI; conducting regular review of process metrics, identifying improvement areas and monitoring action plan implementation

· Ensuring all processes performed by the T&E Teams comply with business/finance and country accounting standards and policies.

· Providing support for complex issues, driving escalations by engaging key stakeholders

· Inspiring and leading transformation projects and process improvement initiatives in T&E area

· Demonstrating experience in delivering strong performance against challenging targets

· Preparing and conducting regular calls on T&E performance for internal customers and upper management

· Motivating, coaching and enhancing performance of T&E Team Members and Leader.

What makes you a good fit for this role?

• 5+ years of proven operational experience in a Shared Services environment, preferably in Customer Service functions or Finance/Accounting.

• 2+ years of experience in leading larger teams (10+ people)

• Excellent communication skills in English

• University degree in Finance/Accounting

• Knowledge of Concur/AppZen/Corporate Credit Cards program will be an advantage

• Strong operational management and leadership skills

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to understand and deal with dynamic business issues

• Proven experience in executing process standardization initiatives and/or deployment of new tools

• Ability to explain complex issues in a clear and concise manner

• Pragmatic approach to problem solving

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to identify improvement areas

• Ability to adapt to changing objectives and priorities.
