Amazon Sr. Alliance Marketing Manager, Amazon Ads Cross-border Marketing in Wuhan, China

Our ads products, services like Twitch, IMDb TV, Alexa, Amazon Music, and partnerships with third-party publishers and exchanges make Amazon Ads the ultimate amplifier for brands to reach the right audiences in the right places, both on and off Amazon.

Since 2017, our CN cross-border marketing team has been driving the awareness, activation, and continued success of China-based sellers advertising in marketplaces worldwide via insight-based marketing and education programs. In 2019, we launched alliance program and started partnering with external entities as force multiplier to expand our marketing influence and accelerate seller brand success in scale. We onboard and partner with 180+ external entities including experienced advertisers, tool and service providers, government and associations, industry learning platforms. Now alliance program has become one of the key pillars driving marketing efficiency and effectiveness.

With the expanding alliance program scope and increasing customer needs on brand building, we are looking for talent as senior alliance program manager to synthesizes opportunities and resources, define new scope and objectives, build and expand alliance network, leading alliances as our extension to accelerate advertisers’ brand success, based on insightful understanding of customer pain points, starting with CN and then scaling up globally.

Key job responsibilities

  • Strategize, optimize and expand alliance network to amplify Amazon’s marketing impact via alliances, including alliance on-boarding, management and collaboration mechanism, and synergy building with Amazon own programs.

  • Aim for long term success on behalf of customers, define new scope and front, and spearhead innovation of Alliance program to accelerate advertisers’ brand success and build up industry influence of Amazon Ads.

  • Conduct in-depth analysis of customer pain points and alliance performance, continuously optimize alliance partnership efficiency.

  • Collaborate across functions globally spanning education, marketing, product, sales, tech, retail and partner programs to deliver results and drive innovation.

  • Influence advertiser awareness, adoption, and performance optimization for Amazon Ads, increase marketing and education impact scale, effectiveness and efficiency via alliance programs.

  • Foster synergy with local teams, and represent the Ads team locally.

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional marketing experience, with 5+ years of developing and managing marketing, educational or partnership programs.

  • Strong business acumen, coupled with innovative and strategic thinking.

  • Highly self motivated, able to navigate in complexity and deliver results with ownership.

  • Proven-expertise in cross-functional communication, driving alignment and collaboration across diverse teams.

  • Demonstrated ability in using data and analytical approaches to find insights and drive improvement.

  • Strong business acumen, coupled with innovative and strategic thinking.

  • Proficient in written and verbal English communication skills.

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred Qualifications

  • Extensive experiences in driving partnership program with third-parties in large scale.

  • Rich experiences and deep understanding of cross border industry and its Eco-system.

  • Experiences in brand building for medium/small business.

  • Master’s Degree.
