Microsoft Corporation Partner Development Management: Full-time Opportunities for University Graduates  in Zürich, Switzerland

As a Partner Development Manager Intern you will recruit, onboard, and manage relationships with Microsoft partners; differentiates the value of partnering with Microsoft versus competitors. Align partners to strategic accounts and identify market opportunities through industry analysis and intelligence. Develop and support partner business plans, skill growth and industry presence. Support partner readiness through selling strategies, marketing plans, and portfolio optimization. Analyze business metrics to assess performance and identify areas for growth.

Responsibilities

Start date: September 2024

Location: Zürich, Switzerland

  • You will lead the creation of a strategic vision rooted to the partners impact and potential across segments, and will generally serve partners that are smaller or startups. Demonstrate an expert understanding of the partners business and conveys the value of partnering with Microsoft based on the business opportunity and possible competition.

  • You also support the integration of skills, capability, and capacity plans for the partner business. You support building a sales plan with others, ask about the partner's pipeline, and help to review the partner's pipeline, top deals, and overall consumption targets. You shadow colleagues to support demand through campaigns and learn and shadow others on how to coach partners on building a world-class tech, sales, marketing, and customer success team.

  • You consult with leaders and internal resources to develop Go-to-Market and co-selling strategies with partners to meet sales goals. You support partner readiness by assisting partners in the development and execution of marketing plans with guidance to generate customer sales. Finally, you escalate challenges and roadblocks to internal teams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications :

  • To be eligible for an this role you must have completed a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Operations or related field, Computer Science, Engineering before the stard date (OR must be recent graduates or recently graduated)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills in English and German.

  • You must be legally authorised to work in Switzerland to be eligible for this role. (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or full work permit).

  • Passion for technology and customer obsessed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year(s) partner management, sales, business development, or partner channel development in the technology industry

  • Strong desire and business acumen for consultative solution selling

  • Exceptional negotiation, customer service, and interpersonal skills 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication, analytical and presentation skills
